This is the
most connected age ever, one can easily work online and earn a living purely by
using the internet. There are many tools one can use to leverage business deals
from Social Media to websites such : Facebook, Twitter, Wordpress, Gumtree,
Craigslist Pinterest, Amazon, Google Adwords, Google Adsense, Ebay, Snapchat,
Youtube and Instagram are essentially huge marketing tools to promote a product
and get ones name out there constantly.
Over 3 billion
people use the internet, alone 2 billion use facebook. By 2020 the number is
set to increase to 6 billion people. Currently the world has 7 billion people, and
soon the majority of the world will be connected. Truly the global connections
are closing down the distance which one can reach and one is faced with the
challenge of having the world globally connected and leveraged at ones
fingertips literally. As I post this to the world – literally the whole world
can read and share this onwards.
This means the
internet is growing market and now is the time to invest. Bitcoins crypto
currency are looking like the online currency of choice, it can be anonymous
and therefore though attractive for criminals, is having serious looks from the
investment banking and financial services as the swings will invite seasoned
traders to make use of the fundamental analysis such as Elliot waves etc to
make money.
For the above
reason, I urge you all not to be stuck with the employee mindset think 4 hour
work week: An Employer deciding how much money you earn hence putting a price
on you, when you can go on holiday, what time you can wake up and what time you
go to bed. I also urge you all to think entrepreneurially,
do you have any off line skills you currently provide? Perhaps by having an increasing presence on Facebook,
Twitter, Wordpress, Gum
I was that
kind of person, get a good education, go to uni, and get a good job to achieve
the dream of car, house, marriage, children and prepare for retirement. This is
no longer the case the threat of automation. The way in which job security is
going signals to the market that this no longer a valid route in life to take.
As now jobs which are easy to do are being automated. As well this we live in
the current world as millennial as the so-called generation rent. We are
clearly no longer doing the traditional things.
